Is beating JMM at 130lbs or 145lbs the same?!

I think it will be the same situation as Diaz. JMM will be outgunned and outsized, but the talent differential will allow him to pull out a tough one late.

It's all evident in the fight. JMM has no power and is slow as molasses at 145.

He just doesn't cut it to be a welter.

I bet you JMM-Floyd at 130 would be much more competitive.

Dont think so somehow. At 130 Floyd was a weapon of mass destruction.

I agree with that, however, at 130, JMM is much faster and had more pop in his mitts.

IS beating Calderon at 122 better than beating him at his current weight?? It will never be as great fighting a great champion at his/near his optimum weight division. The 144lbs version of JMM is the worst version of JMM. 130 is his best division.

Doesnt matter how they performed in their next fights, JMM performing better at 135 will take him back to his optimum fighting weight and will perform so much better.:deal

    What victory party?

Im a hardcore Floyd fan, and I found his last fight boring, but who gives a ****? Im glad to see him back in action.

Pac fighting an old weight drained DLH is more embarassing than PBF fighting a not yet over the hill Marquez. Get over it, its in the past.

What kind of blow-arse thread will you be starting next?

Pull your head out of your arse and focus on the next fight, because nothing else matters really.

JMM looked small against a 135 Diaz , so fighting floyd at 146 was always one way traffic , also knew floyd wouldnt stop him , so i made some good money on points . Floyd knew the outcome of the hatton/manny fight and needed a safety first fight to get him in the public eye , but also to look good. JMM had his biggest purse and still came out with credit so everyone is a winner.
