Is beating Juan Diaz reason enough for a boxer to be crowned P4P #1?

Judges have nothing to do with 'rules' they are 3 individuals who probably don't know boxing as well as %70 of the posters on this site who decide who they think won the fight... I agree with him. As a boxing fan who has your own opinion and working pair of eyes you should be able to judge the winner of a bout yourself without 3 snotted nosed middle class twats in glasses who do often make a wrong decision. If you feel JMM won the second fight with Manny in a close fight why should you then let 3 judges opinions effect yours?

LOOK AT THE QUESTION NEWBIE...."IS BEATING JUAN DIAZ ENOUGH FOR A BOXER TO BE CROWNED P4P #1??

SO JMM IS THE TRUE #1 BECAUSE IN SOME PEOPLES OPINION HE WON THE 2ND FIGHT:think HOW BOUT THE PEOPLE WHO HAD BHOP BEATING JOE CHALZAGHE LAST YEAR..?? SHOULD THAT HAVE CHANGED THE LB4LB RANKINGS???:-(

WHEN A REFEREE MAKES A BAD CALL IN A FOOTBALL GAME AND IT COSTS THE OTHER TEAM THE GAME, DOES THAT MEAN THE OTHER TEAM REALLY WON THE GAME?? ITS A SPORT MAN AND MISTAKES HAPPEN...PUT IN INSTANT REPLAY IF U WANNA BE MORE ACCURATE..TILL THAN IT IS WHAT IT IS MAN!

I think he meant if there's a robbery or a close fight go the wrong way. Of course decisions count if it's a clear victory. You are a sad moron.

You're obviously misunderstanding what my point is.......I asked you if JMM would have been the official winner vs Pac, if you would regard JMM as #1 p4p, and you answered me with the post above......

I'm baseing my p4p ranking on how I score and see the fights......but you with the response above are telling me that what you the fan see's does'nt matter........
You'd rate JMM #1 today if the judges would have directed you to do so......

.....and you rate Pac #1 today because the judges directed you to do so.......

I"m not saying this, you said it with your post above!

.....which is why I questioned you reading comprehension (not your grammar).....

....go back and read our exchanges....how I had the fight or how you had the fight is irrelevant in our exchanges......

What I asked you was would you rate JMM #1 if he had been the official winner, regardless of whether you thought he won or not......and you anwered that yes, you would let 3 judging bafoons dictate to you who you should have at #1......

......I'm not saying it, you said it!

Go back and read, maybe you did'nt comprehend which is why I questioned whether you were a ******* or not (they have a history for not understanding the core of a post and going off on different tangents)
    ........but thats what you answered!

I had Pac winning regardless (by 1 point)....IM NOT A "*******." Hes not my favorite fighter..IMA FAN OF BOXING IN GENERAL....And yes Pac won that fight so I have him #1 in my rankings...my top 7 with Floyd n Joe retired

    1 Pac
    2 JMM
    3 BHOP
    4 Calderon
    5 Mosley
    6 Vasquez
    7 Marquez

Vasquez and Marquez needa fight soon or they won't deserve a mention in the top 10!

I guess in ur list JMM is #1 cuz u saw the fight different...

I don't have a problem with JMM being no.1 P4P. His last 2 wins are enough for him to claim the top spot. But still, on paper, Pac has a win over him which prevents him from claiming it. Not to take anything away from JMM's wins...

the Ring, owned by jmm's promoter GBP, doesn't think so. in their latest ranking dated March 1 (after the jmm-diaz fight), pac is still #1 p4p while jmm retains #2. let's see what happens on May 2.

If you had Pac winning, why would you rate JMM at #1 had he gotten the official decision?
Thats what you said in your response to me that got you all riled up???

:lol::lol:I wonder what you'll think of the Ring if they have JMM as their #1 on their next issue.....

....then you'll say, their ranking is irrelevant, Ring's owned by GBP!
They're ranking to you will only count if Pac is at #1.

Personally, I dont pay much attention to magazines that are dicatated by political and biased agenda's .......
.......if they have JMM at #1 thats fine and dandy, but they dont have to tell me what I already figured out myself!:deal:deal;)

nope, dont get me wrong it is a great performance but simply it isnt enough to become p4p no.1, pac done it when he beat dlh in a mega fight where in he was a huge underdog. And its not like diaz or casamayor are in the p4p rankings, they are not..and its not like jmm was the underdog going into the fight. JMM needs to challenge himself just like pac, theres cotto, floyd, margo, or hatton but hatton is gonna fight pac.

what i'm saying is that even the Ring which is owned by jmm's promoter doesn't even believe that jmm's win vs. diaz is enough to put their very own fighter at p4p #1. rightfully, the Ring has determined that it is in pac's hands whether or not he stays at #1. that's why i said we should see what happens on May 2.

you have to cool down. don't be too serious, man. you think there is always a conspiracy against your boy. you are getting too paranoid when it comes to him. you should take all of this in good fun and stop giving yourself a lot of stress. we are in these forums to enjoy ourselves. this is supposed to be a form of release from the stress of everyday life, not an extension of it.

I read the question... personally I feel that JMM should be ranked at No1.

Just because i am a Noob to this site doesn't mean i am a noob to boxing you *****... don't be so ****ing ignorant. AND TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK OFF

Everybody is saying Pac still should be ranked at No1 because he beat Marquez. Divac is saying that P4P is objective and if you feel that JMM actually won that fight... regardless of what the judges decided that night you should judge the fighters how YOU saw it as judges can be corruopt and get decisions wrong.

I have JMM as my P4P No1 because he IMO beat Pac in the second fight and has 2 impressive wins since which in my opinion was against better Opposition than D.Diaz and a faded ODLH who was fighting at a weight he hadn't fought at for a decade.
