No, he fights in a way that minimises the physical limitations his age brings. Also takes advantage of the fact a lot of the younger guys he fights aren't even in the same stratosphere as him in terms of boxing skill and ring IQ.

Then again, my view of PED's is that they're too often a cost of doing business at the highest levels of the sport, rather than the media portrayal that they're some forbidden taboo that are only for the "bad guys", who we are also told represent only a super small % of the competitors at large.

The fact that Hopkins is a world class boxer, then would automatically lean the needle closer to "yes" for me, let alone that he's accomplishing what he is at his age.

The crappy part is that anyone who genuinely is clean, and there's the possibility Hopkins is, still pays a price for many others using. That cost is both in reputation and in practical terms- he'd get all the blame of using and none of the benefits.

 

Nard is the biggest Fraud, phony in the game.

 

If he is that 30 minute sit down he did with reporters is worthy of an Oscar.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that any pro athlete is on PEDs, but you should have included an "I don't ****ing know" option for literally everyone here to click because there isn't a single person here who does. I will say this, though: there isn't another fighter in the world anywhere close to Bernard's age who can do what he's doing... PEDs or no PEDs.

All these accusations & innuendos claiming guys like Nard are on Peds or Margarito loaded his gloves with absolutely NO proof make me sick. The same people applaud fighters like Jones jr, Shane Mosely & Vitali Klitschko who were PROVEN to have used illegal PED's in the past Why do they not get castigated???
