    Great Post!:good

I voted no, but would not be surprised at all if he actually was. I think we have only scraped the surface over the past several decades of fighters using some sort of PED.

I don't necessarily think PED users view it as cheating, or gaining an advantage over a clean opponent. I think they realize how rampant they are in the sport and acknowledge the fact that their opponents could be as well.

You really don't hear that many high profile fighters damning them and trying to "clean" up the sport.

Bernard isn't suddenly punching like a freak nor have his speed or stamina increased - if he was taking PEDs then he deserves a full refunds as physically he hasn't improved but regressed.

Bernard is beating these younger guys because of his mastery of technique that he's built over decades and his ring intelligence which is second to none.

His style now is one punch then lead with his head or clinch. Do you need PED's to fight that way? :huh

I find him awful to watch and his punch output isn't high either. Not so sure he would need PED's he fights like John Ruiz and has been ever since the Calzaghe fight.

You can argue Archie Moore I agree. As far as people that say he is not juicing because his punch out put is low, even if some one is juicing at 48 years old at the higher levels of boxing I rather be 26 and clean. 20 years ago guys were done fighting at 30 and now guys are fighting much longer and I think it's due to PED'S

Anybody could be, but he doesn't need them for his style of fighting.
The man has fought around 175 pounds for the last like 20 years. How many fighters you see do that? You know how he's still doing what he does? Works hard, seems to train all the time from what I see, and takes care of himself. Add to that he doesn't take that many flush punches and you got yourself a long career.

Hopkins annoys the crap out of me sometimes with his mouth and dirty tactics, but he's not an idiot by any means. Doesn't gain 40 pounds after his fights, keeps his determination and hunger, doesn't seem to let women/ people drag him down, etc

He is probably on TRT, which is legal and is the case with most fighters 40 and over.

Nah man. He just got that ol' alien DNA - why will no-one believe him?

Seriously though, the way I look at it you shouldn't just go slinging mud about PED use without actual proof. If you go down that path you could basically accuse any fighter who gets an unexpected win or performs exceptionally of juicing. I've no more or less reason to think BHops using PEDs than any other fighter. There will always be outliers in any human activity - doesn't automatically make them cheats.

(that said, my personal belief is that PED use is the rule rather than the exception at the top levels of boxing)

I'm flabbergasted how this guy has so many admirers. His whole career he's cheated the sport/fans by getting in the ring and attempting NOT to fight. His constant fouling, feigning of injuries while in the ring is absolutely disgusting. Only getting away with all his crap now because of his age and everyone zooming in on that as the focal point. ffs its no surprise he can still fight now as he's hardly been in a fight his entire career.

Hopkins was the only person on GBP side to take Pacquiao's side in regards to Mayweather asking for additional PED testing.

Hopkins also goes on rants whenever he's approached the idea by another fighter for his fight to have PED testing.

You all make the call. :nut
