Is Bernard Hopkins win over Kelly Pavlik his best win?

I think it's career defining...I think lampley said it best in the countdown "His losses to taylor/calzaghe were controversial. If he could beat Pavlik (thought by all to be the best middleweight and top 5 p4per, all those losses would be in a sense erased."

I think he's done that. His best win ATG wise was vs Trinidad. But his best win, legacy wise is vs. Pavlik IMO...Hopkins was a 4-1 dog; what he did was unbelieveable.

If tonights version of Hopkins would have showed up for the Calzaghe fight, Joe would no longer be undefeated. A brilliant exhibition.

By far the best performance. The Trinidad was badly tainted because Hopkins was so much bigger. This was good. Excellent actually.

Yes. It's a close call between Tarver, Trinidad, and Pavlik, but this fight edges it for me.

Think so? I hate calzaghe (how he fights), but maybe B-Hop's style won't work as easy vs. a Joe Calzaghe possibly???

Must disagree - Pavlik was way over rated and schooled last night, the result would have been the same against Calzaghe or Abraham imho.

    No style works vs. Calzaghe.

If anyone really think Bhop can win against Calzaghe then I hope they do it again and we shall see. Calzaghe will win convincingly.

Congrats to Bernard - an impressive win, but Bernard loses to Joe again if they fight again.

It could very well be. This one or Tarver for sure.

Yes. The only thing that could have made it any better would be if he came out to the ghostbusters song.

I can't think of a comparable win in history and I think it's very unlikely we'll see such a win for as long as we live.

Pavlik is a true Middleweight and was the man of the division. This is better than the Trinidad win. Trinidad would not beat Pavlik at 160 if such a matchup were made, prime to prime
