He says that he is ready for the divisions elite, on an interview with that talk boxing website.

    What do you guys think??

I think that he's pretty close to being ready and Cotto might have been softened up by Margo so why not take avantage of him now. It would be a huge risk but it will also tell us weather or not Berto belongs with the Margo's, Williams' nad Cotto's of the world.

If I am Cotto I take an easy fight though.

He's not ready for any of Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Clottey, probably not even Mosley or Judah at this stage.

Cotto would pick Berto apart round by round and leave him on the canvas. Berto's not ready for that level of competition yet. But he's only just 25. Give him time.

He's not ready for Cotto, but remember, Berto's best punch is his uppercut, and Cotto is ALWAYS open for it.

the one thing that impressed me about Berto is his ability to fight the full 12 and still look super fresh in the 12th with his speed and power still there just as it was in the begining of the fight.

Was this beacause of Forbes lack of power?

Don't see how Cotto would kill Berto when Zab Judah and Mosely both gave Cotto a hell of a fight. I'll say it right now and I don't care what anybody says....Berto is a better than Judah and this version of Shane Mosely. His hand speed is equally as fast as Judah's but he's bigger, stronger and smarter. After Cotto's defeat to AM, I give Berto the edge in a bout with Cotto.

Forbes was overmatched. Not fast enough, not aggressive enough, not strong enough.

I agree that Berto is better then Judah. I disagree that he can beat Cotto.
