    And undefeated.:good

I am not saying he would beat Pac but i know he has the chance. Isn't it what this sport is about? You challenge the champion hoping you would be the one to beat him.

He knocked out Freddy freaking Hernandez in 2 minutes! Of course he's ready!

Dude is in for a rude awakening if it happens.

I don't think Berto would ever be ready, however he could've been built up with a better image, right now there's not much to sell. Dibella sucks at developing his fighters. Wasting fights with Hernandez and Quintana, he could've atleast unified the division and have been represented as the unified welter weight champ. That would've been an easy sell for a Manny fight. Honestly, I'm thinking the best fight for Arum to make is the Bradely/Alexander winner.

Who Pacquio had, before facing Barrera? In reality he is a Star because a faded Champ gave him the opportunity, before that he was fighting bums and been koed, still he is fighting damaged goods out their natural weight, so stop with d myth, and he refuse to the random tests, giving stupids excuses, like he doesn't like neddles, wtf, he is cover in tatoos, or they were done with a magic spray? Since Arum took him under his wing, he is been match very careful.

Look Berto would knock Pacroid out. He's faster, stronger and hits harder than Pacroid.

I don't know that Jermain Taylor was "ready" for Bernard Hopkins, but he beat him twice, it's tough to really say until they fight. I think he has the raw natural ability to give Pac problems, and it's a fight I would like to see, but it would be difficult for me to pick Berto to win. I think he has a better chance than SSM or JMM at this point, not that he's "better" than either, but he's a better matchup for Pac as it stands today.

hes a good opponent. he is young and undefeated but pac will knock him out in the later rounds but its a good fight to see. this fight is more interesting than pac vs mosley.

I think Berto should tune up before that fight, and I beleive the right tune up for Manny is a rematch with Collazo... a fight in which he was dropped and I thought he lost.
Collazo doesnt have much pop in his shots but he does have a great work rate great chin great stamina and is a southpaw who knows his way around the ring.....

I think so. I think he'd time Pacquiao trying to come in with uppercuts and sting him with fast straight right hands. Manny doesn't have the best defense and that's always a problem with Berto. I can see Berto whipping Manny's ass.

As ready as he will be. Did people think Pac was ready to face Barrera? It might seem impossible but you never know. And besides the Marquez fight, I do prefer Berto to Shane Mosley at this point.
