Is Berto Ready for Pac?

of course he is ready.

 

Mosley would have a better chance. I still maintain that. Styles make fights. Berto is as ready as I think he'll really ever be though. He is what he is. The brother's had a world title for two years now. **** or get off the pot.

 

MOSLEY, IS A SHOT FIGHTER, there are others that will present more danger to Pacroid, Berto and Martinez and even Williams, if he wants to follow his recent paterns, fighting damaged goods at catchweights.

As many have said, he's about as ready as he'll ever be because he fights based on athleticism and hand speed, not craft or skill. And his hands won't get any faster as he gets older.

I would prefer this fight much more over Mosley though. Berto is a young and super explosive fighter who might present some problems for Pac. I mean would anyone be seriously shocked if Berto KO's Pacman? I wouldn't one bit.

 

Berto has been a champion in WW for some years now. He should be ready by now. I don't think that he will improve more.

 

Berto ready for Pacman? No. Does he have a slight chance? Yes. Thing is if Berto barely got by Collazo and got dropped by shot Quintana he better start loading his bombs fast and make sure he doesnt get caught in the process. Like I've said before Berto just keeps fighting the same way. If he had a defense of any sort and use angles like Manny does he'd get alot farther and be a much more serious threat.

 

:think Good point. The main difference, however, is that Hatton and DLH brought huge fanbases with them so there was added incentive to make the fights happen for the PPV potential. Berto can't say the same.

 

berto would knock pacs roided ass out, he is young black undefeated champion in pacquiao's weight division who is also an HBO fighter, someone pacquiao hasn't fought yet. Has pacquiao faced a young black undefetead champion throughout his whole career? No, and i don't think he ever will, he is either looking for old and shot fighters, and latino again(marquez):-(

 

I agree. He's at his physical peak and his confidence is at an all-time high. I suppose there's really no reason not to make the fight although I'd still like to see Manny fight Shane at some point...:think

 

Only thing Berto could be ready for regarding Pacquiao is to get KTFO.

It doesn't matter how many fights he fought, he still fights green. And his style, while it may provide moments of challenge for Pacquiao, is tailor made for Manny.

If the question is 'is Berto prepared/ready enough to beat Pacquiao', I'd answer one of two ways... 'Hell no', and/or 'as much as he ever wll be'.
