After Berto demolished that German the other night, I got to wondering what others think of him. Is he the real deal? How about Berto facing the ultimate gate keeper; Zab "Never Play With Matches" Judha? who wins and why?

Trabant is a good fighter and his very passive approach made him a difficult target.

berto was very workmanlike..........and that was a good thing.

his power and speed alone guarantee that he is world class.

will he win a belt.........maybe. but i think his chances are good.

I see a lot of potential in Berto, and he's still improving. He was patient in dismantleing Estrada and Trabant. He's got power, speed, and good movement. He got floored by Rivera , but that happens to guys on their way up, its a learning experience. He got up to win, thats the most important thing. Right now he's in a **** or get off the pot situation, he's going to have to take a dangerous fight. Clottey, Judah, Cintron, somebody like that. Maybe next year he'll be ready for the next tier, Mosely, Cotto or PBF.

Yes. I really think he is. I'm not sold on his footwork yet, and that will be tested once he meets the elite but his hands are fast as hell and he hits like a mule. He puts combos together like a young tyson.

he has the power and speed.. but i think his defense is a bit lacking... and although i like how gutsy he is to exchange punches in the center of the ring.. that can also be a bad thing... but i like the guy one of my fav. fighters... i think he has a few things to work on.. but i can see him beating everyone but the high A class fighters in the division (cotto, mayweather, mosley etc.)... and zab?..... depends which zab shows up i guess

He has alot to work on before he is the real deal in any way. He is right about 9 or 10 now.

He has 21 fights. It's probably time for him to step it up a bit. I'd love to see him fight Judah. They'd have to film that **** in slo-mo!

With Willams express derailed and Quintana got exposed earlier Berto is going to be the hottest prospect in the division after PBF-Cotto dilemma is solved. That's obvious. Does that qualify for the 'real deal'?

Not at this moment, he needs to work on his defense.
