Similar but I give it to Hopkins based on competition faced and the longevity. He doesn't have the athleticism of Floyd but still wins or competes at this age due to his smarts and toughness.

This. I'm tired of people talking about Floyd so much.

Mayweather is superior. If Floyd fought naturally smaller guys his entire career he would still be beating the crap out of them. Hopkins rarely fought someone who had 10+lbs on him. Its easier to roll shots on your shoulders against smaller less powerful men compared to people who outweigh you 10lbs like Kovalev who throw you around the ring when they hit shoulders etc.

Hopkins is way smarter. Hopkins made it without any exceptional physical attributes. All hard work, skill and ring iq. Floyd has a good ring iq and trains hard too, but he's also got natural speed.

    Also, Hopkins can read.

Dude, Floyd demonstrably is unable to read basic English. That's just the way it is.

B-Hop posted pics on Twitter, he was reading Sun Tzu's "The Art of War". Floyd can not even read.

So, yeah, he is smarter, of course.
