They're about par judging on their performances vs Barrera.

Ward probably knew how to win dirty more so I'd give him the slightest edge.

Wards resume was way better and he’s the type of fighter that will pull out any trick in the book to win. Clean or dirty.

Bivol pulls straight back. Ward would have a party with that.

Ward is a dirty grub but is probably one of the best US fighters in recent times.

Poppycock I don't HATE any fighter. BUT I do not respect any fighter that needs to cheat to get any success he has. Its painfully obvious to all I have very little respect for Floyd, Canelo or Ward all 3 have been given winning decisions they did not deserve as we all know. Neither of them liked having to fight away from home because they needed the home cooking. Add to all this I believe Andre Ward was one of the dirtiest fighters in recent history, there wasn't a foul move he didn't utilize that's why he never wanted to fight away from home he was allowed to get away with it
I support FIGHTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!guys that had to come up the hard way Guys like Pacquaio, ,Margarito,GGG etc who rarely got to fight at home & were fighting seasoned pro's at 15-16 yr old kids to support their families.
These are my honest beliefs You can support whoever you wish but it makes me wonder how you can support the blatant cheats that have dragged the sport down to this low level. You must know who they are

Ward has fought a much higher class of opposition Kessler, Kovalev, Froch, and he beat them all at their own weightclass.

Whilst Bivol has a win over an elite fighter in Canelo hes not an elite Light Heavyweight IMO.

All this will be moot point though if Bivol can convincingly beat Beterbiev. Until then though I'll give the edge to Ward for having more wrinkles to his game and being more proven against elite opposition.

the first fight wasn't even close. all ward did was bend at the waist, charge in and clinch, when he found out kovalev was more skilled. one of the biggest fixes ever.

Dont really see it that way. Ward clearly lost to Kovalev in fight 1 and had a strange win in fight 2. Wouldnt say Ward has a "way better" resume than Bivol. The way Bivol beat Canelo is a better feat than anything Ward did.

Bivol beat Canelo in his own weight. Canelo who just went up for one fight. This win, in my humble opinion, is overhyped. Well, if you rate Canelo's win against Kovalev the situation may look different, but Canelo was never an elite at light heavy for me. Who does Bivol have on his record except for that? Zurdo. Good win. But his resume can't compare to Beterbiev. You can't be number 2 at your weight and be better than Ward, sorry.

The only clown present if Floyd was in the ring was Floyd himself lol Floyd Coco the Clown Mayweather jr
He's totally lost it claiming he was the best boxer EVER!!. I'll never forget that kid , who was the only one there at the Ms HOF, that knew who he was He said "That's the funny little guy that fought Big Show on WWE he had trunks on that looked like they belonged to Big SHow they were enormous They said he was a boxer but he wasn't big enough .LOL You insulted by calling him a childish name , brickhands, but we all know who you were referring to. He was the MAN!! The Fighter !! that scared that little pipsqueak Coco Mayweather jr so much when he merely asked him " Why wont you fight me "?? that he soiled his underwear in fear LOL.How Embarrassing for poor Coco lol. He's your idol you called him King ROFL Wjhat does that say for you???

Really?! Protected! Ward had one of the best resumes at 168 ever. Whether he traveled or not, it doesn't matter because he dominated everyone that he fought at 168. Now I'll give you Kovalev 1 at Lilght Heavy. I believe Kovy won the 1st fight by a couple rounds.
