The way he is blatantly destroying the sport, one has to imagine he doesn't give a **** about boxing 5 years from now.

He is old, his son recently died, he's filthy rich, he's made a killing of Pacquiao's ignorance in recent years up to today...

Is the greedy **** just playing his cards and ****ing everything up because he knows he won't be around much longer?

Surely, he has to know he's killing the sport like no one else ever has with all the Robberies week after week or month after month, and all the crazy scorecards. Like he is setting up all these huge pay days by making sure his most marketable fighters get the W regardless of how bad they lost. He knows the boxing industry sees, especially the fighters, and I'm sure he knows fighters won't be signing with him with all these shenanegans.

I say he's ready to cash in his chips and will have a few HUGE events with all his protected fighters and leave for good.

I believe he wants to still be the top promoter in the sport and actually enjoys ruining the game by trying to push other promoters out and launching smear campaigns to destroy other promoters and fighters with whom he has differences.

He still enjoys being a snake, and the boxing game allows him (and others) to play out their petty vendettas and corrupt business practices to the detriment of the fans and the fighters.

He had his time, but it's time for him to bow out at let Dubeof take over. Arum can still make money, but he needs to be out of the day to day operations. His presence is no longer needed.

Arum will keep working til he dies. He loves his job and it probably keeps him feeling young.

You know,in the 80's and 90's Bob was seen as the good guy in the elite pantheon of promoters.
Who knew old Don would have such a prominent rival in the unpopularity stakes.
