Andy Lee offered to face Vera on short notice, but I don't see that happening.

 

Arreola's a fat un-motivated tub of **** he's a bum Vera isn't the most skilled but he's very tough and fight's to best of his ability, he did take out Andy Lee and he'd make for a tough fight against a lot of up and coming fighters, im not saying Vera's anything special he isn't but every fighter that's not among the elite shouldn't be labeled a bum he's not a fat drunk making his pro debut or a guy with a losing record looking for a paycheck he deserves a little more respect than screw that bum.

 

I don't think it's official, it was reported in a few places and boxrec jumped on it like they always do.

Ill take your word, I like the sound of those other two then Lowther who I never even heard about even though he is from my hometown.

I think the fight is at 138, so who knows.

its a big card and the only reason Vera was there was because he was fighting Pavlik... who wants to see Vera?...I feel sorry for him, but its business.

 

Give the man a fight. Vera is a very good journeyman fighter, he deserves to be highly profiled for once

 

I dont want to call people I dont know and probably wont meet such names but the dis-respect is absurd I cant help feeling if you've ever fought or at least known a fighter you wouldn't **** on them so quickly for not being a p4p elite, I do agree with you for the most part hell I only fought as a amateur a few time and that was kickboxing not boxing no less but It gave me a great apprecation for the sport and just how tough some of these guys are (this is personal experience I never came anywhere close to the world level but the anxiety before fighting then walking in the ring and after that) It's just you and him im sure the crowd made noise but I couldn't hear any of it I respect fighters that are able to hear there trainers in-between rounds and execute a gameplan as soon as I got hit the face I couldn't hear the crowd or anything It was game on. I think if the posters knew a fighter or 2 they wouldn't say bum so quickly not everyone's gifted enough or talented enough to be a world class fighter but a lot of them have shown there grit and heart and made great fights.

 

he is not a bum but we are talking about the more important boxing card this year, and his name just doesnt belong there.Unless he's fighting somebody like Pavlik-who everybody is wondering what has left-but to filled up a stadium you need big names.And Vera doesnt have one.I think Pavlik should pay him for no showing to fight a few days earlier.

 

Hmm with the exception of Berto Nov. 27th is my favorite card Vera vs Pirog would be a great action fight im almost positive Pirog would win but I think fans would be pleased.
