While I have my tinfoil hat on, I have to say that it looks awfully suspicious the way that Bob is treating Crawford. He appears to be laying a landscape whereby he will refuse to work with him. Anyhow, everyone knows that the easiest fights to make are in-house fights. Crawford has indicated that he’ll go back down to 135. Crawford also wants the biggest fights. Now if I were a betting man, I’d wager that TopRank are hoping for a lucrative future with Teofimo, who’s also a unified champion, and self proclaimed undisputed champion. This leaves no room for excuses. On top of that his dad has claimed that Teofimo beats everyone from 135 to 147. And so here we are. Crawford going down to 135 could and likely would be disastrous for project Teofimo. Not to mention that on his way down he could take Taylor and Loma as well. It would seem that there’s nothing in the way. That was until Bob essentially cast Crawford out. Thoughts...

Crawford looks like a big welterweight to me. I generally don't like to see guys go down in weight. If he did manage to get down to 140 or 135, my guess is he would not be effective. He's better off letting the smaller guys come up to his weight.
Personally I consider him a small welterweight. Well, certainly not a big welterweight. For that I look to Brook, Spence, Porter etc. If he can comfortably make the weight, I can see him going down. He’s not getting the desired fights at 147. Let’s take what he’s said at face value. He’s moving down to 135 (apparently) Should that be the case, I personally see him being avoided. Especially now.
If he can make 135 no one in that division has the remotest chance against him. There will be a run on saunas and plastic jogging suits from contenders fleeing down to 130.
It's amazing Pacquiao managed to escape Bob's sex dungeon before he retires in a few years Crawford has clearly made himself at home and loves getting Bob's treatment it seems. A damn shame.
