Margarito, Mosley, now JMM at 144, when JMM failed miserably moving up in weight against floyd. I could see the mayweather fight never happening, a pipe dream. once again facing floyd's left overs. bobby u suck

No Pacquiao only fights guys who are real threats and in their primes. Manny has never fought a shot or overhyped fighter since signing with top rank. Everyone who knows boxing knows this.

Every fighter is being protected if by protected you mean their long term finances are the top concern.

Could Pacquiao have been fighting guys like Berto, Dzinziruk, Maidana, and Bradley in the time frame of Clottey-Marquez III? Yes. Do the four of them pose a bigger threat than the four he fought? Yes. But it does not change the fact that seldom do fighters actually fight the guys we want them to.

I would go with milking, the cold war with gbp led to bob looking to maximize the income from pac fights with little risk to his company, if pac lost it would be to toprank fighters, same with mosley who could have then fought cotto, margarito, pac again and now marquez if he wins there will be a huge rematch. Bob arum looks out for his own interest, he doesnt care much about manny, putting him vs margarito and mosley was smarter business wise than martinez for example or berto.

All WW (even JMW if they could go 150) below will wind up being cherry picked to Pac. Except for the great one if he could find his balls.

All promoters, bar none, would do exactly what Arum is doing if they have a lottery ticket like Pac. This is business no matter how you spin it.

If you're the best take the test.

    But Pacman ain't the best...

He only fight shot, over the hill, left over fighters. He even need the aid of illegal hand-wraps and a fix fight to win them.

    Welcome to ***** wonderland.

pacquiao is so protected by arum that he even let pac fight fighters across promotions. meanwhile floyd is willing to fight anyone as long as its from GBP.
