I dislike when the trainer talks about win as his achievement. It is boxer's achievement, you are assisting him to that achievement. It is not level achievement. At least be respectful to your boxer and credit him and be modest. You are cocky guy, bomac.
My old buddy Randall Tex Cobb's words of wisdom were " It takes a team to get a fighter ready for the ring, but no matter who the trainer is, when that bell rings for round one youre on your own in there its your ass on the line"
Your right i did see some shades of how Terence fights in there especially with the uppercuts, jabbing & one to two shots then getting out of range.
What's the issue? He was needlessly being a Richard about Loma and it rubbed me up the wrong way. Had he kept his mouth shut like he should at the dinner table more and not said it it wouldn't have irked me. Simple. It's no big deal I love them both like a father loves his two sons
A trainer is only as good as his fighter and a fighter can only excel with the right trainer. A good fighter can be world class but the right trainer can help them become elite
A ton of trainers can be insufferable. It’s kind of expected though since a lot of them were untalented boxers now living through good ones.
Some gents just love to hate. Reads like jealousy. Fighters come from all over the world to the U.S. to be coached and trained. Face it gents, we got the best.
If Smith had turned up in the same shape as the first fight then I can see you taking a little bit of credit. Even though you only did 4 weeks with Eubank. But Smith turned up with a foot injury and an ankle injury, and he had no stamina because he killed the weight. A fair few British level fighters would have beaten that version of Smith on the night.
