Problem is, its not my arguement but yours. PPV sales (as I have stated so many times already) don't make or break it for me. But if they did, it would suggest that your arguement has a flaw in that you said that PBF didn't sell because he was in too small of a weight class. Yet, its the same weight class that Pac has had success in. If Pac can sell there, why couldn't PBF?

I don't really understand why you don't follow this.

You are not part of my argument. I already said that a business doenst need to find ways to sell its product to those who are already loyal costumers. It does need to figure a way to get its product to other demographics. I.e why PPV sales matter. If athletes no longer find boxing profitable enough then they will find other sports to pursue, we are already seeing this in boxing and the rising star that is UFC which markets its product much better then boxing.

If Pac sold the same amount of money Floyd did at welter, then you'd have an argument. However Pacs fights have never been blockbusters, even his bouts against Marquez, Barrera and Morales were not blockbusters.

I follow fine, its that its irrelevant to the discussion considering Floyds selling power now. Which as my consistent point has been, Pac will never have.

Your criteria for this was always PPV sales. Just look back at your posts. You made an excuss for how Mayweather couldn't sell at the lower weight classes and I answered that Manny has done just that. Now you argue that its irrelevent, because Floyd has sold higher number than Manny at weights that Manny has even fought in.

This will be my last post adressed to you. I should have stopped when you said that Roger and Floyd Mayweather's antics were more interesting than anything that Manny does.

No it hasnt. If you read my older posts I say another criteria is Floyd is the much more talented fighter. But thats neither here nor there, the main point is Floyd is more entertaining outside of the ring then Manny. He also fights at a much more prestigious weight. Since you've entered the argument about comparing Floyds selling power to Manny's at the lower weights, I've called it irrelevent, neither sold outstandingly well, and Manny will NEVER sell outstandling well. Again mute point you are trying to make.

Outside the ring yes. Thats what matters to your average sports fan. As Mayweather said, people want controversy. Simple Blood and guts doesnt cut it anymore.

Na, it's just pretending that entertainment is better than skills...though, most people pick entertainment over skills...

Pac's style is waaaay more casual fan friendly, that's not debatable. Pac also not a caricature who makes most people cringe when they open their mouths. That's basically what Mayweather became, a caricature of himself. Pac will be a much better representative of the sport then Mayweather could ever be.

Although Mayweather I believe is one of the greatest p4p boxers in history, Manny Pacquiao has never had a boring fight and boxing is better IMO b/c the spotlight will now be on him
