I wonder how much **** the K brothers get in Europe it seems people in America live to criticize here in the states, but if they were American I bet fans would say both of them were ATG!:bbb

There was an article in Boxing Monthly about the brothers and their TV deals in Germany etc. Can't remember much of it but it generally stated that it was a bit of a joke with all the Pop Idol winners singing, performances before the boxing but only a couple of undercard fights. Not the best way to spark interest in boxing really.

They will be calling Wladimir an ATG soon anyway. Just like they do Lennox Lewis. Sure, Lewis was smart enough to base himself in America at a time when the top heavyweights were American, and that probably helped him in the long run, but the way his all-time rating has gone from zero to hero indicates the same thing will happen with Wlad.
Personally I dont think either of them are that great, but Wlad's got to be close to Lewis level now regardless of where you rank them.

    That's a fair point too.
    German cheese doesn't export well.

I can't believe anybody thinks this is an important fight. At this time there is no such thing as an important heavyweight fight. The entire division is uninteresting. I can't name one exciting HW. There is not one of them who could get somebody out of there in a hurry and until sombody starts knocking people out with highlight reel typestuff it will remain a boring division.

I will give you the fact that they are by far the two best HW out there but have they beaten anybody other than an old Holyfield that would be considered a great or even good fighter? ATG, you gotta be on something!

If they were exciting/interesting the american fans would take interest in them just like they did with Pacquiao.

I kinda deny the whole "american fans dislike foreign fighters outlook". Yes, maybe to a degree they do. The popularity of fighters like pac and duran prove otherwise. and modern american audiences seem to be fine with watching MMA fighters like emelianenko, cro cop, silva etc. And some of that audience are the biggest AMERRRICUHHHHH people out there. so i disagree.

Mayweather, b-hop could be called just as boring, but we know they are skilled and we appriciate them for it. I not saying the k brothers are on May or hopkins level just that the exitement level in their fights are similar. The klits could try talking more ****:yep

In no way are b-hop and mayweather as "boring". The klits are the most boring kind of safety first fighters. They aren't even really mobile. They keep their shitty opponents at the end of 1's and the occasional 2 and wlad throws a 3 once in a while until their opponent's corner throws in the towel. mayweather and b-hop have a pretty comprehensive skillset, especially mayweather and in his younger days i thought he was a very exciting fighter

there is a 99% chance the povetkin fight will be the exact same ****
