Some of these decisions by the judges go beyond being bad. There are monkeys who could score fights better, and these arent monkeys scoring the fights. Calling them incompetent only gives them a free pass. They are not incompetent. They are corrupt.

In a mega venue such as Paq/Marq, how could the judges conceivably come up with the results that they did?

You have to think, if Cotto had the same dominating performance against Mayweather as Marquez had against Paq, would they have robbed Cotto as well?

The real losers here are not Abril or Marquez. Its us, the fans.

There is absolutely no repercussions against this sort of corruption. God knows what else goes on behind the scenes. I think what we see of the corruption is only the surface. I believe boxing is rotten to the core with corruption. And what a shame. The greatest sport of all time. No other sport can get your heart pumping as boxing does. Ultimately its the fans who were robbed. Marquez may have gotten the wrong decision, but he still got paid and gets a rematch. You wont hear too much complaining there.

When government decided to step into baseball affairs and hold congressional meetings on steroids, I was 100% against that. But short of outside intervention, boxing is doomed to a group of thugs and a rotten commision who turns the other way when results are fixed to keep a mega fight option on the table. They are all on the dole. There is no other explanation. And WE the stupid ass fans bankroll that dole.

Cyclists are the most tested athletes.

They even have Biological passports, so every change in blood levels, can be monitored and compared over any period of time. They also have to tell in advance where they are on any given date, so they can be tested whenever the the doping testers wants to.

And if they are caught lying about there whereabouts, they can be sanctioned too. Michael Rasmussen for instance.

on the whole, yeah. think about it, there's really no fully legitimate aspect of the sport. every aspect of the sport has the potential to be corrupted, and all of this is unregulated. promoters can be corrupted, sanctioning bodies, judges, referees, commissions, and fighters themselves. there is no other sport that has the potential to be fully corrupted, in every aspect.

Yeah I think it probably is, I love it but it's an absolute disgrace quite a lot of the time. Worst thing is the people that run the game are as corrupt as anyone else so nothing will ever change.

of course it is, the only reason it still survives is because the dishonorable behaviour by the crooks who feed off it, is sometimes offset by the nobility shown on occasion by some of these warriors.

I feel like pac lost the first 2 fights. I feel Pac won the last fight. But there is no way in hell you can call ANY of those fights a robbery. They were close competitive fights.
