I read an article on another site recently in which Bradley admitted Alexander would be his toughest fight, with Khan and Maidana 2nd and 3rd respectively. But lamented that HBO would not offer big money for Alexander.Bradley says he does not fight for pride anymore he fights for money and there is no money in fighting Alexander. He says he wants to fight Mayweather and Pacquiao.......the big money fights. It seems to me that if you want to land a big money fight at 147 you would defeat the toughest challenge in YOUR divsion to gain bargaining power and much needed publicity. Thus far Bradley resume has Witter, Peterson and Holt as his biggest victories....although good fighters not enough to land a fight with Mayweather or Pacquiao. Defeating Alexander who by Bradley's own admission his toughest challenge at 140 would bolster his argument for a big money fight at 147.Yet he continues to make excuses of why its not smart to fight Alexander. Sounds like ducking to me.

If he wants a big money fight wither either of them then he needs to move up and establish himself at 147 which is where his next fight is at, if I was him I'd look to fight Berto next if that's the direction he wants to go.

If he wants more money, maybe he should fight outside of cali. Even being an undercard on a vegas card would help his exposure. If he is really about money now, make the necessary adjustments with your promoter.

At first I thought he was just trying to help build the Alexander fight by saying wait a bit or until HBO pays up. Now, I am not so sure. Alexander is a beast and fighting him may be the ned for Bradley, so picking his time to fight would have to be a smart thing to do.

part of me wants this fight to happen now, but another half of me wants to see more of an anticipation to the fight.

Nope, he could get 4 times as much fighting the easier fight in Amir Con! If he looses vs Alex he wont get the fight. Khan is trained by the best strategist in the game, hell end up fighting the weakest link after Casamayor.

So what you're saying is that Bradley is opting for an easier opponent in Khan, instead of heading for Alexander which could be his toughest opponent in the division... how is that not ducking again? :huh

Take it easy, Alexander isnt any monster he looked vulnerable against Urango almost similar to Berto. I will admit that alexander would be a tough fight for Bradley and somewhat of a risk. However, everyone is trying to get paid and if you ask me who would I fight between Maidana, Alexander, or Khan? Khans the easy pick, no doubt. If you call that ducking then so be it.

Yes he is, it's not like Bradley has even tried to pretend he isn't.

They both sparred together, Bradley knows Alexander has the better of him, he uses the money excuse as a way out of it. Bradley has been a brave fighter up to this point in his career but this is blatant ***** farting from Bradley.

Alexander is the man a 140 now, he had offered to fight everyone.

Oh I'm not getting worked up over this, but what you've described is in fact ducking... Bradley is definitely avoiding Alexander at least for the time being.
