Mayweather has beaten the #1 welter in the world on at least 2 occasions.

When was the last time Pacquiao fought the #1 guy @ 147lbs?

    WRONG.

Mosley was the #1 welter in the world when Mayweather beat him. So was Baldomir...

eltirado is weird. Sometimes he's a great poster, and then othertimes he's a blind troll.

You have Thurman over FMJ and Bradley based on what? Soto Karass and Diego Chaves ? LOL

Bradley is #2ww without a doubt. Tho the win over Pacquiao was controversial the one over Marquez was not. Marquez became #2ww when he destroyed Pacman. Bradley beat him so took his place. Not hard to understand. Pacquiao Bradley happened before 4th Marquez fight, not after. Should Pacman win the Bradley rematch he gets his #2 spot back. Right behind Floyd. Thurman, Porter, the rest will get their chance, but right now the hobbits rule (Bradley, Marquez, Pacquiao) aside Floyd of course.

If SRL faces the same 22 Thurman faced, you will still favor the hasbeens over SRL, thats how weird you guys are :hellohi

I know we are supposed to let this slide...as its good for boxing in general...just don't BS me when it comes to Thurman...the guy simply sidelined because he is too good....also YDKSAB...Roger can't tell why either :-(

Keith Thurman is the #1 Welterweight... I am not even putting him in top P4P mainly cause I give credit to the roided midgets for being able to preform at Welterweight... This BS need to stop, we can have stars in each division...without the need of freakin roids and strict midget tournaments between old featherweights at Welterweight limit...this BS needs to stop after Mayweather cashs out with the big loot in 2015 :hellohi

No one is arguing against Thurman's talent, but the fact is he hasn't fought anyone of substance yet. Karass is decent, Chavez is decent, but not anyone world class. And I remember him getting caught by slow ass Karass, imagine him in with someone with real speed.

The fact is, while I like Thurman, theres nothing other than "what if's" that you could justify him being the best in division. Average until proven elite. Simple as that.

I oppose your definition of elite...a smaller guy is no longer elite in bigger divisions...this elite status handouts along with ranking encourages promoters to just create hype roid teams that end up making much more profit than actual legit talent from the real weight class

So instead of investing in Thurman at 147 for the future, promoters are better off hyping/roiding Gonzalez, Inoue, LSC and Mikey Garcia to Welterweight ...roid them up and let them beat up each other and small artificials moving into every new class as the top 5....afterall who will notice :hellohi

Thurman, SRL or SRR will also be unproven, with this kind of crookedness (which ironically suited Crook da Brook...no complains there)..No promoter wants his duck slaughtered in the ring :nono

Its already shameful to keep Thurman out of the big fights, just lets not be unethical and pretend he is not #1 Welterweight... Casuals don't come here...they just read the ads on PPV and order, so it will not hurt PPV sales...Thurman needs to get step aside $ for allowing promoters to pass him by...all he is getting now is promises that he will be the superstar once the hasbeens retire...That doesn't mean this gives you a license to underrate him...directly or indirectly... :nono
