Lennox got a LUCKY victory because punches usually dont open cuts as wide as that, huge cuts like that are usually generated by headbutts, and he opened it with a grazing punch while holding Vitali behind the head.

Also, as much as you call Vitali a paperface he's never been cut like that before or after that fight, the cut changed the tide of the match, Vitali was plainly kicking Lennox's butt before it happened. So Lennox owes his victory to luck. That's why he runned away with his victory, you dont win the lottery twice.
