more of a con artist looking to steal rds by tippy tapping and flicking a jab to no where just flicking punches and volume with no real placement or purpose. The guy is boring and I wont watch again unless he fights someone dangerous where there is a higher than normal chance of him getting KTFO.

I hear ya, I bring up the question because a lot of people are saying Manny needs to fight a young, african american slick fighter, and they mention Tim's name, but after tonights performance, I wonder if they'll change their mind

He's slick and he showed good head movement tonight, but I think the Flu or maybe the weight hopping(I doubt it) screwed with his stamina

Im getting tired of these stupid comments. He looked "less than impressive" because he was in against the best. I think boxing fans have become too used to walkovers because they've been watching too much of Pac destroy overmatched opponents. We finally had two top, undefeated fighters fighting each other, and of course neither looked like a million bucks, because they were a good match for each other. It pisses me off, because if either had been fighting someone like Kaizer Mabuza or Paul McCloskey, both top 10 fighters but not nearly the best (however the kind of fights every other champ makes), they'd have won by dominant beatdowns and gotten hyped like theyre the greatest ever, Devon vs Duran and all that ****. But they fight each other, the best, don't look as hot because theyre up against the best, and now they're **** and hype jobs.

Yes he's slick defensively. The only slick african-american I want him to fight is Mayweather. Period. I know it's not necessarily entirely Pac's fault, but that's really the only fight I care about either fighter making (with the exception of if either of them wanted Martinez).

See it's these kinds of comments that keep the best fighting easy fights.

And what are you on about, Devon Alexander isn't a dangerous opponent? Who the **** was Tim supposed to be fighting then? Aside from Khan (who he wants to get to next), or maaybe Maidana, theres no one even close. Titleholders getting hate for fighting other titleholders...now I've seen it all. :patsch Maybe he should've called out Juan Urango instead...or had another crack at Kendall Holt...or maybe rematched Lamont Peterson, cuz those are the fights we all wanna see.

Agree with this. People don't understand the concept that when the best fight the best, sometimes the fight doesn't pan out to be the greatest fight ever. Not every fight can be a Fight of The Year contender. And both fighters may not look good in the process, thus the reason being because they are fighting a top notch opponent. We need more posters like you and less...well almost everybody on here.

He might not be prime Cory Spinks or Mayweather in terms of slickness but he sure as hell aint no Clottey and Margarito eather.

I'd agree with you, but last years performance, both guys fought other guys who aren't "the best", and yet both performances showed the same unimpressiveness

No, not really. I've been watching boxing for 30 years. This was boring as hell. There can be close matchups where there is excitement. Martinez-Williams I was very close and very exciting. Honestly, I fell asleep during this fight and woke up the few times Bradley landed something significant.

Not sure which broadcast you watched. But HBO mentioned even though there is a rematch clause, it will most likely not be excercised. Larry Merchant says it's best these 2 fighters look for other fights before thinking about meeting up again, like maybe 8 FIGHTS LATER!
