Nah, I'm not going to change my mind despite the fact that Bradley disappointed me just a bit, mainly due to his lack of power. I wasn't expecting him to knock out Devon but a clean, hard shot should've at least made him blink which it didn't. Tim also doesn't really have a commanding jab. I still think he deserves a shot at either Pac or Floyd though. It isn't about who would win or lose. It's about doing enough to earn a chance to step up to the plate. In my eyes both Bradley and Berto have done that.

 

Exactly this. Does anyone really believe that every ATG matchup was exciting and had both fighters looking like Kings? Maybe only in hindsight, just in the same way that everyone has Pac and May getting KTFO by any ATG from previous eras.

You don't need to be on steroids to be a 150+ pound man to push 315 on the bench. There are Chinese girls who weigh like 140 pounds picking that weight up over their head in olympic lifts.

 

Bradley has some slickness defensively. But, he gets a bit reckless offensively, at times.

 

good point. He has good head movement on defense, but forgets about it on offense. Fighters like Floyd and even Pacquiao can come on in combination and roll out or evade counters coming at em

 

Its the world record, I need to look to see if there are videos, but I was looking through a book of world records and there are some little chinese girls putting up some weight BIG normal guys can't do, but they are, of course, the elite in the world. Shane is an elite athlete, too.

I have repped 255 at a weight of 125 lbs twice, I imagine Shane is proportionally much stronger than me, as I am only like an inch shorter than him. When I was young my dad used to rep 320 and max out 1 rep at 360 at a weight between 145 and 155, but he is a little shorter and stockier than me. I honestly believe a world class fighter like Shane who looks that strong and was the captain of his weight lifting team in school would seriously be just as strong or stronger than my father. I completely and utterly believe that is achievable for a guy who is obviously strong without steroids.
