Is Brandon Rios's chin overrated? The majority of punches are blocked by his gloves!

Lets be honest here, sure he can handle some shots, but in all honesty is it just because of where his hands are held during the fights? He always keeps his guard up tight to his face, so the majority of the time he isn't getting hit flush with shots.

This is my opinion, I think this is the main reason. We haven't yet seen him take a clean, hard punch to the jaw from a decent puncher yet.

    Your opinions?

Do you want him to be like Mayorga and ask to be hit in the face with his guard down? Having a strong chin does not mean you need to leave it open.

Rios took some serious shots from Atillion and Acosta so i disagree, his chin is solid.

I'll use this dude's words so I don't have to sound like a dick.
A better thread would be that his defense is underrated since you pointed out he keeps his guard high at all times.
