So what if he was the underdog? Quality of opponent is what matters. Julio Cesar Miranda is an average fighter who's lost convincingly to every top fighter he has ever came up against. Segura, now that is a good scalp, but not that good. Segura just isn't that good. Canchila proved that. Segura is just a big man with a big punch, outside of that he's a very technically poor fighter. He beat Calderon because the Rican's legs were gone and he was badly undersized, and he beat Canchila because that mope can't take a punch. Outside of that, his resume ****.

So Viloria beats a very average operator in Miranda, and.................a decidely average operator in Segura. You can waffle on about Segura being P4P and whatnot, but assesing his skills (limited at best) and his resume (average at best) he's really not that good at all. You don't get fighter of the year by beating guys who aren't that good, you get it by beating the best, which Viloria hasn't done sadly for him.

Donaire or Ward takes the cake, and deservedly.

Saludar wants the fight. But Viloria probably won't like to fight a fellow Filipino, kinda reminds me of when he refused to fight his mandatory, Filipino Juanito Rubillar, at 108.

This is what I hate about Pinoy fighters. They refuse to fight each other at the championship level! This isn't the Olympics.

Its too early and it would be a waste since no one will watch it. The best route for Saludar is a consolidation bout with Melindo. He needs to build a name and we dont want to see him rushed like ALA fighters.

His resume puts Segura's and Miranda's to utter shame.

Please explain to me how the resume's of Segura and Miranda eclipse that of Carl Froch.
