Britain isn't a Country. That would be as daft as claiming Mexico Canada and the like as being part of the USA. Of the top of my head I think Wales have one champion (he's shocking, the worst belt holder in the sport) as does Scotland, England has zero champions.

Nathan Cleverley and Ricky Burns are blatantly, matter of FACT- WORLD CHAMPIONS. Is the starter of this thread on crack?

    also,

    1 Britain isnt a Country!!!!!

2 England NI Scotland and Wales (the 4 countries that make up Britain) have a population of 62 million compared to 311 million in the US.

so statistically, the US has to produce 5 x more world champions than the UK otherwise it is doing worse than the UK.

Im not surprised the US doesn't produce as many fighters as it should, cos most of them are obese mcdonalds eating blobs

Who would you rather face... Katsidis or Broner? Katsidis has never held a world title and has proved himself to be a tough, but crude, slugger when he has stepped-up. He has also taken so much punishment in his career, it must be diminishing his ability now he's in his early thirties.

Broner is a young, hungry champion. Very slick and improving all the time. He might go on to be one of the next big stars in boxing.

So Ricky electing to vacate and fight Katsidis does not totally dispel the notion he ducked Broner, especially as I did not read or hear anything to say he was struggling at the weight.

    ...South Korea?

I know many will say thats a silly answer but from the late 1960's until the turn of the millennium they had at least a solid contender the best they have now is Ji Hoon Kim.

Ireland has no legit world class fighters as of now. But i think thats because our best foghters are all still in the amateurs. After a few of them turn over we will probably get a couple of champions imo.

    Embarrassingly?

Froch lost a points decision in a UNIFICATION fight,

Khan lost an iffy hometown points decision

and Haye just got outclassed by the real HW Champ...

I don't call that "embarrassingly losing there belts"

There are very few current lineal/ring champions, I don't think PR have 1, only Ukraine in Europe have 1, Mexico only have JMM who will be vacating his LW title.

That's an unbelievable dumb thing to say.

Britain is a country. And has been for over 300 years.

England, Scotland, Wales are NOT independent countries. They are part of the country that makes up Great Britain.

Mexico, Canada, and USA are independent countries.
