There is much discussion about Brock and his potential. Personally I think he will do well in time.

Usually it is stated that he will be the strongest HW in the UFC.

Do you think this is true or just a reaction to his size and appearance?

I just watched his K-1 debut and was surprised that although he passed Kim's guard with ease, he coudn't really create any separation after he mounted. You would think that it would be the position where his strength would be obvious.

Well considering he isn't exactly a well known striker his power shots seemed to make kim tap out quick enough, he didn't really try to seperate that much he just hit him.

Brock if anything is very strong, someone with that type of explosive strengh is causing problems for anyone. While I know wrestling (WWE) is scripted someone that can pick up the likes of Mark Henry and Big Show needs to be strong.

On his fighting ability well thats yet to be seen, but If he is the real deal it will be awsome to watch and If he gets KTFO or dominated that will be fun as well

Theres no question that physically he will undoubtedly be the strongest man in the UFC.Anyone that can suplex the big show and F5 Mark Henry is strong as hell.Either way although this will be a massive advantage it remains to be seen how effective that strength will be once in the octagon with a real operator.

Nogs got a great ground game but i dont think even his heavyweight arms could get around Lesnars non existent neck.

I've seen purple belt weighting 170lbs take on 260lb national wrestler. He couldn't choke him because he didnt have a neck but he almost smothered him and couple of times almost had him in armbar. Put things in perspective i think Nog can submit Lesnar and his non existance BJJ technique.

agreed, the beauty of jiu jitsu is it doesnt require strength, prof. helio who turned what he learned into modern brazilian jiu jitsu was a sickly person and very small and frail, it stresses technique, and guys like mir, nog, gonzaga (who is pretty big himself) etc. have great technique and would be able to slap submissions on even the strongest men, strength does go a long way but doesnt finish the race for you

UFC tests for drugs, but there are always ways around drug testing.
