Had he beat Maidana these same guys who said he isn't a welter would be on here saying he beat a top guy and has transition comfortably into 147. Just look at the odds and the people who gave Maidana almost no chance at all other then a lucky haymaker. Now it's Broner ain't no welter.

I mentioned before the fight that weight classes existfor a reason and that his sedentary style would expose him to power that he probably wouldn't be prepared for. He's got skills but I don't think he belongs at welterweight. I understand that he's trying to be like Floyd, but Floyd's one of a kind. WAR MAIDANA!

He can go back to being irrelevant. Broner/Crawford will be a massive fight for Showtime....

Again, the question is not does he belong there. The question is was he a welter. The guy is built like a tank and weighs 157 on fight night. That is a welter. Whether he belongs is a whole other thread and poll. Hell does he even belong at 140? Who has he beat at 140? Mathysis would do the exact same thing at 140.

You claimed that he tried to fight at his walk around weight.

nope. wouldve just been amazed that a former lightweight could take out a hard hitting welter..

no excuses though. Chino handled his business.

so are u suggesting he struggled to make the weight?

and are u saying he'd have trouble trying to make 140 like most of todays welterweights would?

maidana vs broner reminded me of iran barkley vs roberto duran out there, the disparity in size was so bad. showtime should be arrested for putting on this match. travesty of justice and human decency i tell ya.

No, you moron, i'm suggesting your claim that 'Broner tried to fight at his walk around weight' is total bull****. 13 lbs is significant.

Frankie Edgar fought at his walk around weight and held the UFC lightweight belt at one point. If Broner was as good as he was made out to be, weight should never be an issue. Of course it becomes an issue when people need an excuse as to why a fighter lost. Sweet dreams Sweet-D...:)
