Broner could try to fight triple G at his walk around weight if he wants. that would be the greatest upset in boxing history. i think he should try it.

If he tries to make 135 like he is now he will end up in ER with kidney failure.

He may as well, no one else is game enough to fight triple G.
It's going to be a shame when triple G is forced to retire because no one wants to fight him.

Think you are mistaking skills and weight. Because he can't bang or has the chin at welter he has to move down to a weight class where he is to big for? He wasn't some fat slob at weigh in , dude was ripped. Lets just face the fact the guy isn't that great. It isn't the weight class. It was the competition. Had Paulie had any pop in his punch we wouldn't even be discussing this. Yet when he beat Paulie, a welter weight, it was all good.

one question: how many welters today can make 135? maybe pac, marquez, or mayweather. 3 elites. other than that, not many.

i knew this shyt was going to come up. broner is a welter wieght. dude is huge did you see how easy it was to push maidana off of him. thats what happens when you face solid comp at your real wieght instead of picking on smaller guys

is that why Provo lost to Bradley, cause he wasn't a genuine, bonafide, true blue welterweight?

If he weighed above 140 at the weigh in, he was a welterweight for the fight. Should he be fighting at welter, no. He should still be at 135 honing his craft. He really needs to drop back down. If crude slow Maidana, did that to him, what would more skilled guys like Bradley, Thurman, Brook, Guerrero etc. do to him? Worse, at 140, there are pressure guys who are a bit more skilled than Maidana, like Provodnikov, and Matthysse, or a guy like Garcia who can box and apply pressure. This fight showed he is not ready for all that. If he can't keep the guy off him, he is toast, with his bootleg should roll.
