Dawson was a decent boxer who beat other quality fighters.

He just lost motavation and stopped fighting in the high volume style that made him so effective.

Getting beat by Ward don't make him a hypejob. He easily beat Hopkins as well.

    Is Broner a hype-job then?

Of course he was. He had a massive weight advantage 135 , skipped 140 and arguably drew one and got blown the fuk out in his two fights at 147

Doesn't mean he can't come back and prove himself.

Against who though? His attitude is all wrong to bounce back.

At 147 all the top guys would murder him

At 140 Garcia, Provodnikov and Matthysee would end his career.

And at 135, he'd be drained to fook after walking around at 175 all year and Crawford and Shafikov are gonna be title holders soon who would put on a clinic against him die to Broner's limited boxing ability.

He could fight Gamboa but that would probably be Oscar-Pacquiao all over again.

That's because he kept switching trainers so much. I mean he switched trainers 10 times, that had a serious effect in his development as a boxer. Instead he was regressing from switching trainers too much. He was the most effective under Floyd Sr, and it's no coincidence that when he left Floyd Sr to EM he looked like complete ****, and hasn't looked good since.

The fact is Dawson has a poor attitude, he's mentally weak, and is a habitual liar. The guy has no respect for his trainers, he fired his first three trainers from Connecticut probably because they were too hard on him. I'm surprised he lasted two fights with Floyd Sr. Now all his bad career decisions are resulting into loses. Dawson had a lot of potential, but he never gave a damn about what anyone said about him, he never gave a damn about his fans either. He wanted things his way whether he looked bad or not. Now as a boxer he's done, well on the top level he is.
