Amateur success has no bearing on pro success. Most of these Americans who didn't do well in the amatuers have more of a pro style anyway.

Who gives a ****? We will still have world champs it doesn't matter also the USA not being good in boxing isn't good for the sport so I have no idea why you're excited about it? Do you really think Big money fights will continue to happen in Vegas without American stars?

You will never see the mega purses or the spotlight without American participation. You're a fool if you think any fight in the UK will get the attention of say PBF-Canelo, PBF-Oscar or PBF-Pac, I won't even go into the older mega fights.:deal

I'm not worried about it. Most of these guys who are good pros now were not even great ams. Guys like Garcia, Thurman, Crawford, Charlo bros. These guys flourished when they turned pros. Spence and Russell Jr were pretty good ams but their style is better suited to the pro game and it's already showing.

No need to I don't follow am boxing that much I follow the pro game. I'm sure the USA will field a ****ty team in Rio with that said I'm sure the ones on the team will make for better pros than they did ams.

They turned pro early because they realize that their game is better suited for the pro game.:deal Russell Jr fell short against Loma no shame in it Loma is the truth but he's still a world champ as of right now.

Spence's game is way better suited for the pro game and will be lightyears a better pro than he was an amateur I would also love to see Spence give that guy that work who beat him in the Olympics. He wouldn't last 6 rounds with Spence right now.:deal

How many boxers does Mexico qualify for the Olympics? Where are all their great amateur boxers?:rofl By you logic Mexico's future is bleak and should just quit the sport outright.

We're not worried about it. Why should you be? We will still have talented boxer's in the country and continue to give the UK that work to.:yep:good
