Never was... Anyone who put him there was out of their mind. His best win was a close SD over Malignaggi. The only reason people were buying into him as a p4p guy was because of the "next Mayweather" hype surrounding him.

Lost to Daniel Ponce de Leon, Paulie and now Maidana. Certainly not P4P worthy...

How can you like him? He's such a poser. I understand that this larger than life ego act is popular in the black community (infecting others as well, unfortunately), but I mean get a grip, most sensible people can see right through these insecure imposters. Broner got a dose of reality today. For most fighters of Broner's caliber, this would be a moment of learning and would actually make them better. Unfortunately, Broner's fake ass ego will never get over this humbling experience.

Broner was never top 10 period! He was a creation of Showtime.
The fight was not even close and there was no elbow to the chin. Maidana pushed his head up because Broner was holding on to him so tight that it was almost impossible to get lose. The ref Cole appears to be an idiot or possibly a crook? He tried to protect Broner the entire fight! When Maidana knocked Broner down in the 2nd round Cole gave a long count. At the end of the 11th round Broner hit Maidana clearly after the bell, yet Cole did not take a point away from Broner. Cole did warn Broner for pushing and forearming, yet no point was taken away. And the Showtime commentators had the fight even after 5 rounds?! I had Maidana winning every round. Do not even bother to read the report above, watch the fight and judges for yourself. I think it was Brian Kenny who asked the commentators what fight were they watching? Again, that fight was not even close and it so appears that Cole saved Broner from getting knocked out!!! At least the real judges had the fight scored more accurately. I though for sure the crooks were going to give Broner the decision and Lawrence Cole is a disgrace!

I said at 147 he had the second best behind PBF. It's obvious that I overrated his defensive ability he got hit with shots that a lot of guys at 147 wouldn't have gotten hit with. He had no answer for that overhand right early. Maidana won fair and square he proved me wrong.

Did anyone see the illegal punch after the bell in round 11? Broner should have had a point taken away, but Cole appeared to be biased towards Broner. However, the judges did a good job tonight, but not the commentators. I loved Brian Kenny's lecture..........

I think the judges would have robbed Maidana... its hard to rob someone though when they beat the other guy that bad... What I love is that ALL THE CARDS were stacked against Maidana. Broner is marketable, the ring is his size, the promoter was his, he was billed to be the next big thing, he was undefeated, ref was pretty much his 2nd cornerman. And Maidana beat him so bad they couldn't even steal it from him, beautiful... I'm not even mad lol, I bet on Broner too!
