Is Bute clearly the best at 168?

Bute has not yet beaten any one of the Super Six fighters and will soon be facing arguably his biggest test yet in Miranda, who was DOMINATED by two Super Six fighters. If Bute loses to Miranda, he is clearly not the best SMW in the world. If he too dominates Miranda, it remains unclear who is the best SMW until Bute faces the winner of, or at least one of, the Super Six.

 

Who has Bute ever really fought to be number 1?

 

A garbage fighter who prides himself on being able to take shots to the head and a reality television star.

Anyway, on topic. I like Bute, but I'm a bit puzzled about why some guys are ranking him #1 at 168 despite the fact that he's unproven against elite competition just because the Super 6 hasn't played out as many people thought it would.

Im not kidding either, he may be able to stop Green, but I dont know where Green stands right now.
