Is Bute planning to take the Calzaghe route??

I hope not, but it would still be better than Ellen '' Shoe watcher'' Green.

 

I like Bute ,but i think Interbox will try to milk his belt. Whitout Bute interbox are nothing.
They will try to make as much money as they can out of him.

 

Sad but true, but this don't mean easy way, and its not Bute's fault...

 

i think bute has the skills but he was hyped WAY too much in the beginning, especially in canada, and now he's expected to perform to that level and take the best; he should have been brought along slower without constantly telling us how great he is. I believe he's willing to fight the best eventually but at this point, he's not quite ready

Calzaghe was a great fighter,HOFer,undisputed SMW champion and LHW champion by many and probably the best SMW of all time and altough protected he had a great career so if Bute has a career like him I would be happy.

 

He'll go the easy way by destroying Allan Green's sorry ass.

 

To me it seems Bute has more options than calzaghe did.

 

Nearly 3 years ago? He was doing it like crazy in the Ruben Williams fight, which was a year and change ago. He didn't seem to do it in the De Leon fight, which is a good sign, but that fight only lasted a couple rounds.

Anyway, Bute hasn't been taking the easy route so far, so there's no reason to think he'd do so in the future. Will he keep fighting mostly in Montreal? Probably, but that's a money thing. He's expressed a willingness to fight elsewhere if it's more profitable than staying in Montreal though.

good point. montreal is really becoming a huge hotbed of boxing up here. it's the best in the country and becoming an alternate to vegas, new york and la. and the quebecers love the guy
