His physique makes him memorable and his achievments all the more impressive. But even if you look past his physique - he has some serious athletic credentials. Even if he doesn't go down as one of the best heavyweights in history, he still deserves some major recognition. 1. Impressive pro record 2. Multiple fight disciplines (Boxing, wrestling MMA, kickboxing was the only sport where he had a losing record) 3. Competes as a pro even in late age 4. Recent MMA champ in his late 40s 5. Huge draw for boxing revenue despite not being a top heavyweight contender 6. Major celebrity (movies, TV, video games etc..) So yeah, I think many more people will remember him for the positive things that he has done. Whereas, Margarito, despite his accomplishments will only be remembered by most people for his loaded gloves scandal.
How can he be ahead of Margacheato? Butterbean is one large tub of plaster. I'll give him this though - he's the most well known, lowest ranked boxer in the history of the sport.
He was a very entertaining fighter, even if he did crush cans for a living. The fact he did it for so long and on so many big ticket fights, he gets in on entertainment value alone.:good
