Kessler was still a force to reckon with when Ward took him on, which is proven by the win over Froch. But he suffered from that nasty eye injury at the time. And more importent, while Ward won more rounds against Kessler, Calzaghe and Kessler fought a pure BOXING match, without horrible headbutts or illegal holding. Stuff like that is what makes boxing such a great sport. Ward is a cheater. He would have beaten Kessler without fouling, but he did not, and therefor remain a cheater :good
