Is Calzaghe`s stamina & workrate unparalleled for his age (36)

  1. Yes JC has insane%incredible stamina and workrate for a 36-37yr old man:hey he was blessed with a very strong heart.
The only other fighter today i can think of that has a similar workrate and stamina is Antonio Margarito, i've never seen Margarito tired in a fight:-( and he has taken a lot more punishment than JC, AND a little bit younger i believe:huh ..

Yeah but Ibeabuchi destroyed the old records for compubox punch thrown in a fight in a 12 round fight. Those records dated back to the Ali era and were set in a 15 round fight.

the number of punches you throw in a fight means a lot.

I`ll always remember what the commentators says in the Calzaghe/Eubank fight... they said that Joe said `my training runs arent like other fighters, I run up hill fast`
That was when he was 25, Im guessing he still does insane things like that judging by his current condition.

Another reason why he takes a punch & recovers so well is because of that fitness & if you work that hard then you deserve the success he has had, like him or not.

The neat thing about Joe is that he never seems real tired, even in the last round.

Anyone know a time when he noticeably slowed down?
