Joe isn't my favorite boxer. Lennox Lewis Carlos Monzon Wilfredo Gomez they're my favorite boxers. and in that order. :good
Jones - good win. Hopkins - great win. Kessler - great win. Lacy - great win. Eubank - great win. Veit x2 - good wins. Reid - very good win. Mitchell - good win. Brewer - good win. Sheika - good win. Woodhall - good win. Bika - good win. that's Joe's resume and what i think of it as.
Everybody has different circumstances, and fights get missed. Roy missed a lot of guys for one reason or another, but he still had great wins and went from JMW to HW, then back to LHW. Also, the majority of the guys he missed, if not all of them, weren't as good as the best guys who he actually fought. Joe was content to fight in a weak division for the most part, defending a lightly regarded belt, against mainly subpar opposition. You can name every guy that Roy missed, but it doesn't matter. He still fought better fighters than Joe did, and achieved more. Joe had the opportunity to move up in weight and go to America much earlier than in 2008, yet chose not to. But that's ok with you. You act as though Frank controlled him, and he didn't have a say in what happened. That's not the case. Look into it. Joe was not a victim. He wasn't a guy who wanted big fights that couldn't them. He was a guy that was content doing what he was doing. Why can't you just accept that?
Blah Blah Blah, more of the same from you. look up, Loudon. that's all the wins on Joe's resume that have worth, and how good they are. could you do the same with Roy please. :think
Calzahe took the path of least restiance and retired in his prime , so no , not 'the best ever' A great British fighter though.
correction, your original post only opinions how good you think they are, not what they are. You've contradicted your original post, so you need to start again and make a valid comment on your original post.
he retired in his prime??? atsch i suppose Jones was past his best at 35 when he got smoked, but Calzaghe was in his absolute prime at 37 when he retired?? OK, Dino.
but which AAs can you name who faced 40something legends and declared them as their greatest victories?
how good they are... from MY POINT OF VIEW. i'm waiting for Loudon to do the same. funny how super Trolls Dino and Heroll the **** come in soon after Loudon. all the time????? :think
The move to LHW improved him. He even said on Ringside Calzage special that he checked out in his prime. Are you saying me and Joe are wrong?
