Is Calzaghes legacy resting only on his win against prime Kessler?

I was responding to another forum member who stated that Prime Hopkins was a better win. I made no comment on whether Calzaghe was supposed to be in his prime or not.

Kessler was an excellent defence. A unification bout between two great unbeaten great SMWs, both in their prime.

Moving up in weight and decisively beating ATG Hopkins (9-3 or 8-4, according to two of the American judges) to capture another lineal title.

Destroying the career of the most feared SMW in history, who was predicted by nearly everyone to destroy him. (Hindsight is 20/20 :D)

Beat a far better version of Bika than the one who troubled Ward.

Defeated Reid, even on an off night. (You could look it up )

No, herol, you fail abysmally to make your case.

Your cuckoldry at the hands of the Welsh dragon has distorted and perverted your take on reality...

    Face the truth, son.

If you were capable of satisfying the old lady's carnal needs, you wouldn't be in this mess of sour gra pes. :yep

"half retired fighter" - Hopkins went on to fight another decade after the Calzaghe fight, having some pretty impressive wins, including one against Pavlik.

It's pretty funny when people try to bash a fighter like Calzaghe, they're usually the same people propping up another fighter with a ****ty resume.

You mentioned injured. Just clearing up the point.

The only legit title in the era of the bogus alphabets

After he was demolished and his career was wrecked. By Joe.

Dude gave Ward way more trouble than he did Joe

    Many feel... ?

And didn't Manny feel he beat Floyd ?

    'Feel' doesn't count.

(Except maybe how you feel about your old lady's feelings for Welsh-Italian Salami ? )

You just got shut out five nil, herry :yep

You're getting screwed worse than Missus Herol. :D
