The more I rewatch Canelo vs GGG the more convinced I am that GGG won both fights by at least 4 rounds.

 

The first robbery changed the landscape of Boxing. If they didn't rob GGG, Canelo wouldn't have gotten a rematch so quickly only to rob GGG again and turn him into a superstar. GGG would have been the star and Canelo would have fallen to the way side and had to work his way up again.

This is what robberies does to people's careers and boxing.

 

Ginger has plenty of leverage, benefit of the doubt and star power it's quite the windfall I know but he dosen't back down, never acts like fights will be given to him, that should be acknowledged.

It's difficult to have him carry the burden of other men's biased. He always brings a good show and unfortunately boxing still favors those who've proven to produce excess revenue. Until I see him getting shutout and embarrassed he's earned the perks of close calls. There are plenty of posters that mistaken this business as one that operates with high morality and impenetrable, divinely driven ethics....wrong sport, wrong world.

 

Hmmm sounds to me that word"Sport" is being used fraudulently ....

 

How so? I'd also like to point out that part of the sport is having the right promotional team behind you, a savvy agent, manger and contract negotiator. I legitimately have no horse in the race, my loyalty doesn't lean either way. GGG and Canelo are excellent fighters and I respect the entertainment value they provide.

The scariest thing in the world is a deluded person self-assured in his own convictions. It's one thing for someone to believe GGG cooly rode his pony to victory both times and it's another thing when someone understands their susceptibility to fall victim to your own cognitive biases. One person believes leprechauns spontaneously appear at the end of rainbows carrying pots of gold and the other knows when you leave your lucky charms sitting in milk too long the marshmallows eventually become disgustingly soggy.

Different folks loving the same sweet science, that's ESB for you.

 

Losing to Mayweather should not be held against him, Mayweather is one of the best of all time.

In my opinion, he is 1-1 with GGG. Again, GGG was the number 1 middleweight of his era. If Canelo did lose to GGG, there is no shame in that.

Canelo has an awesome resume, probably the best resume among active boxers. The only thing I didn't like was dropping the wbc belt when GGG was his mandatory.

I don't know why Canelo has so many haters but it must hurt to see him keep winning.

This pretty much 100%.
The both Golovkin fight was 100% clear. Just because a fight is competitive, doesn`t make it hard to score or could go either way typical b.c. excuse.
You just need to see Canelo fanboy responds, and its all clear. At the first fight, just because you pressure someone, and beat the living **** out of somebody, doesn`t mean you won the fight. And all they were saying is it that either Canelo won or the fight was a draw.
Everyone knew that was straight up robbery.
After the second fight - Canelo won, because he was on the front foot, even tho he didn`t actually pressure Golovkin, and Golovkin actually show him what a good defence mean, and how to outpunch and outbox an opponent, who is trying to pressure you.
And after the second bout, because they knew 100% Golovkin won that, 8-4 clearly, they change the tactic. To somehow get more value into their garbage opinion, they are saying that Golovkin won the first fight, but was close fight, and Golovkin lost the second one .....

I just call ****** all the biased p...... on here.
Don`t care if i root for someone or not. If the guy is getting beat and lose, just because i support him, doesn`t make him win the fight. Support your fighter at the high, and at the low, otherwise you are a garbage, who stick with the strong of the day, and you are not a true fan, but a garbage attention seeker.

Floyd scorecards were ridiculous. That draw was a complete joke. GGG both fight has ridiculous scorecards. No matter how bias you are, you can`t give Canelo more than 5 rounds, and no more than 4 round on the second fight. Both fight was 8-4.
And they even said that the close round, that could go either way should to the defending Champ. I guess they didn`t knew the Defending Champ was GGG.
Don`t know how every close round or rounds that Golovkin edges was going to Canelo way ....
The pre-stack is strong in Canelo matches.
He clearly lost to May, he lost 2 competitive fight(but clear ones) against GGG, and like it or not with a fair judging the max he could get from Lara and Trout is a loss and a draw.
And the golden boy resume doesn`t look so impressive any longer. Especially taken into the consideration that GGG was clearly not a prime fighter, and he still lost twice to him.
If there wasn`t for all of his dodgy scorecards and all the sh..... he is doing and stacking the card into his favor big time before the matches i would have respected and recognition him more. He is a damn of a fighter.

 

Lost to Floyd, that was a UD not an MD.
Lost the first fight with GGG.
Draw or Win (leaning towards him winning) the second fight with GGG.

 

Yes. I had canelo losing both GGG fight and against Lara as well.

 

He is 1-1-1. The one with no controversy or difference of opinion (minus Mrs. Ross) is the loss. History books would be better represented by mass opinion if he were 1-2.

 

Let me just remember you what was the poll who actually won GGG vs Canelo fight 2. It was like 93% in favor or Golovkin or so.
Let me just remind you, that 99% of the whole f***** world score that fight for GGG.
And let me just remind Canelo fan, that they are biased pie.......
