Well, I am no more a fan of his than I am of Bud, Tank, Loma, Haney, Ortiz, Usyk, etc... I'm more a fan of Boxing than I am of any boxer in particular, but I will admit that SRL is probably my all time favorite as he was the first boxer I rooted for while watching him fight Duran the first and second time.

I definitely dislike that he's taken on Munguia and will be fighting Berlanga next instead of Benavidez. He's being a P-rick for not giving us the Benavidez fight as of yet. I just disagree with you and others on the why, but am open to admitting that I might be wrong and you might be right, it's all good, it's just Boxing....

Sorry for the long posts, I tried to explain my reasoning in the best way I could. I hope I didn't come across as an arrogant, disrespectful A hole as that was not my intention.

    WTF are you talking about??

Benavidas and Canelo have cleaned out SMW, and Benavidas was HIS MANDATORY.

Why on earth would Benavidas have expressed an interest in fighting Terence Crawford??

Canelo shouldn’t grant an audience to the only relevant SMW out there, who was his mandatory??

    WTF?

    Don’t even bother replying.

This level of stupidity just gives me a headache.

What's giving you a headache is your own petty aggression.

You are a free man, people can't tell you what to do and what not to do, the same applies for Canelo.

Why on earth should Benevidez express interest in fighting one of the top pound for pound fighters in the sport? It's not me that's spouting stupidity.

    No.

What’s giving me a head ache is your stupidity. Pure and simple.

Why would Benavidas want to fight Crawford, when he’s now at LHW, which is THREE divisions higher??

Why would he ever have wanted to fight Crawford, when up until recently, he was Canelo’s MANDATORY at SMW??

Hopefully you have the capacity to understand the above.

I understand that you have this urge for "being right", it sounds like this is a very strong urge that you are dealing with but that's not how life works, your opinions don't just become right because you want them to be right sooo badly. An opinion is right or wrong based on the facts to back it up and the logic behind them. Perhaps we can agree to disagree but I don't think that we are going to get much further.

Reread your post, and then specifically concentrate on the parts of it where you’ve mentioned facts and logic.

If Benevidez can drum up enough interest for Canelo to accept his challenge then the fight will happen. If not then Canelo has no obligations, Canelo is bigger than Smw, bigger than the orgz, he is a fighter from a previous era who held the p4p1 spot. Benevidez should just be grateful that he has gotten to leech off of Canelo’s name, if not for that then nobody would know who he is.

Did John Ryder drum up enough interest, you absolute genius??

    No obligations??

    He was his MANDATORY CHALLENGER.

    Leech off of his name?

He was in the SAME division, and was his mandatory. He’s not leeching off of anything.

How did Canelo become a P4P fighter?

By getting THE OPPORTUNITY to fight the best guys out there.

Yet here you are, criticising a guy for wanting those same opportunities, which by the rules of boxing, he is ENTITLED to, as Canelo’s mandatory.

    Don’t even bother replying.

I’m not wasting any more of my time on such a simpleton as yourself.

Not yet. He hasn't quite decided to hang them up, so the fight is still possible. I'm not happy with this fight in comparison but I'm still tuning in. I think Benavidez is really his last matchup anyone gives a **** about, so he's trying to squeeze it for all it's worth I'd imagine. And if you bank 50-60 mill for guys nobody asked for you to fight then logically you should expect more for the last coveted matchup on the table. Is 200 mil too much? Not for me to say, especially when Benavidez's promoter felt it was realistic. I see the exit ramp on his career approaching. He's only got one big fight left and I'll be satisfied a long as he doesn't let it rot and put himself at even more of a disadvantage.

No obligations. Canelo is a free person.
Leech of his name. Yes, if not for Canelo then nobody would know about this B guy.
Canelo generated sufficient interest for fighters like Cotto, Shane Mosley and Floyd to fight him. Nobody forced those guys to do so.

Maybe you can be right next time around?

You are replying to an Obvious stupid troll. Saying Benavides should target Crawford is about as stupid as moron saying Canelo should fight Crawford. The Crawford and Canelo fight is purely for money and nothing else and yes Crawford gets knock out cold.
