    It's disappointing because i favor Canelo to win, but he seems to be avoiding that fight like the plague

    Cash Cow Canelo ducks everyone. Even now spouting Charlo after he ran from him 4 years ago.
    Chavez, Sugar Ray and even Floyd fought them all. Canelo wants no part of
    Benavidez.

    If he fights Bivol or Jack next, then no, but if he stays at 168 to drag a champion up from a lower division, then yes.

    Absolutely yes. Look at how Canelo and his team refuse to say Benavidez's name. The only time they talk about Benavidez is when they're directly asked by reporters, and Canelo's answer will always be dismissive, such as:

    "I don't fight Mexicans" - blatant lie,
    or,
    "what has Benavidez achieved?" - more than Plant, Yildirim and Fielding yet Canelo was more than happy to face them at 168

    Funny how Canelo is interested in Charlo as he's been out the ring for 2 years, but has no interest in facing an active Benavidez who just bullied Caleb Plant. Even though literally no one wants to see Canelo face Charlo, and everyone wants to see him face Benavidez.

    His next fight will be a disgusting swerve of the true No.1 challenger to his undisputed titles, he'll face inactive part-timer Charlo or ancient 40 year old shot Badou Jack next.

    Do grown men really use the word "ducking" in real life, when it's not on some forums? Or is it just an American thing? Can't bear the word.

    No I don't believe he is avoiding Benavidez, I don't believe anyone avoids anyone. Timing is everything and he's made it clear he wants the Bivol rematch.
