Is Canelo dumb enough to fight GGG?

    Canelo seems to genuinely want to fight the best, and cares about his legacy. I was shocked when he fought Lara, and he is really a pretty good fighter.

    That being said, GGG destroys him in a nasty way.

    Will Canelo be dumb enough to seek out GGG after he gives Cotto his retirement fight?

    Canelo has the balls but I believe G.B.P. and now HBO will now hype it up and try to let the idea "marinate" to the public for awhile but this fight isn't happening in the near future. It would be a tremendous fight though.

    At this point I would favor GGG.

    CANELO will fight any one unlike certain so called P4P number 1's.

    Canelo has already fought tough and slick boxers like Lara, Trout and Mayweather all by the age of 23 years old.

    Win or Lose, Canelo will take on all challengers including GGG.

    Canelo should have the most thorough Anti Doping controls known to man, put in place if he fights him, GGG is on something, you don't go 7,8 rounds with Rosado Adama and Stevens and all of a sudden start blowing Rubio's and Geale's out in 2 or 3 rounds.

    honestly hard to say because we don't know how ggg would do at 154 and we don't know how canelo would do at 160. i think canelo would win at 154, ggg would win at 160.

    He won't have any choice. Cinnabum can barely make 154. The guy was supposedly weight drained at 152!

    I don't know if he is on anything or not, but if you are going to target one athlete, then you must assume all top athletes do them. You can't just say GGG is doing something, but nobody else is. Fact is, there is big, big money at stake, and if one is doing "something", then chances are others may be as well. Face it, the professional athletes we see in ALL sports are the "crème de la crème", and if one is going to try to get a smidgen of an edge, then you know someone else is going to try to keep up. Because, in the end, in the professional world, money is king, and they have contracts to work towards. I'm happy being entertained by these professionals...whatever they do or don't do, means nothing to me, the casual fan.

    Canelo would, but GBP is smart enough not to do it. I think HBO sees this as a potential super fight down the road, but not now.
