Has any fighter in the last 5 years or so came out with the claim that the Canelo camp offered them a fixed fight? if this was true you would think that it would have came out by now.

Nah bro, this what happened. Canelo and the cartel came to Kova's doorstep a day after the Yarde fight. They promised they would help Kovalev with his legal problems as well as a lifetime supply of premium vodka if he complied and throw a fight with Canelo at 175. Having no other options, Kova had no choice but to comply with Canelo and his Mexican cartel buddies.
