Gomez "gave him fits" but it wasn't because he was actually troubling an Alvarez who seemed in that fight to test out defensive movement and hand placement. He won a few of the rounds, not looking dominant or better than Alvarez, but simply by punching way more. When Alvarez tried to hit back in the last two rounds of the fight, it was pretty obvious he was in a whole different league and could have stepped up his volume in the first round. There was nothing in the Mosley fight to say "wow" for, but the same with Pacquiao against Mosley, and to a lesser extent Mayweather against Mosley.

True, lets see if he keep being dedicated. I respect the fact that he is humble in his profession. Always shows respect to his opponents before and after the fight. Rarely you hear him talk ****. Just proves it in the ring.
