I think after Crawford, and given that Canelo has steadily declined over the years, it might have been the last time he was the number one cash cow in boxing. What do you think?

He is By far the top selling boxer today and it's not even close. Even if he has another two or three losses no boxees around today can out sell him and have higher ticket sales and pay-per-view numbers. However after a loss it will go down a little bit.

Yes but the hourglass is on its final grains of sand. He can make huge money in a rematch with Crawford, otherwise a fight with Jake Paul would be huge. Other than those fights there's nothing except for Benavidez and Canelo won't touch him with a 50 foot pole.

You don't understand how popular he is with Mexicans. Yes, he can still draw fans, but he'd better destroy his next couple opponents, Mexican style.

If he’s a dawg, he’ll try to fight Jack for his CW strap should he retain it in his mandated rematch

The only thing cowlike about him is his big stiff legs and the dumb look in his beady eyes.

He can rebuild against Munguia/Berlanga/Scull/Ryder level fighters who have low boxing IQ and would walk onto a big shot but anyone with movement and countering ability can give him fits.

Been saying it for years, Canelo has cement feet and throws big single shots now which are predictable to see coming if you can keep your range against him

No one can draw like him Usyk Inoue Crawford
Bring in pennies but like @FrankinDallas said he'd better smash his next few opponents or hang them up

No he’s an entirely different species.

seriously an enormous number of people would watch a rematch with Crawford that’s just the world we live in,even if we think we know who’s going to win.

Not to mention the fact that Crawford is a much bigger star after his dominant win over the cash cow.

Too much of a following in North America still, especially obviously Mexico in which it has a huge boxing culture.

Canelo is still boxing's biggest cash cow but it is increasingly difficult to understand why after recent performances.

If we're specifically talking about the Mexican beef cow then yes.

No. He has no belts snd hes just lost to the welterweight champion.

His negociación power is massively decreased.

He'd have to be B side against Crawford or Bivol in a rematch.

Apart from that what else could he do? Fight Jake Paul? Tommy Fury?
