Is Canelo vs Khan, any different then GGG dragging up Ouma (147) & Rosado (154)

I don't remember stating Ouma was a world beater or a top5 MW. But he was a legit middleweight challenger compared to Khan, that's all.

Gilbert, a MIDDLEWEIGHT fringe contender, a win over him and previously fighting for THE MIDDLEWEIGHT title is way more than enough to be a more legit MIDDLEWEIGHT challenger than a guy who never fought or never will fight ever again above 147.

 

beating a d level mw, whos best win was prob jimmy lange about 6 years earlier(lol btw), is enough to qualify you as a mw challenger? okkkkayy....well i see were dealing with someone who doesnt live in reality once again

daniel geale got his ass kicked by miguel cotto....you will say "cotto isnt a welterweight" and "Geale was drained"....because thats what you do.....but the rest of us know the deal

 

It is good enough to be a more worthy challenger than a guy who never fought above 147. In fact, anyone who's ranked @160 is a more worthy challenger than Khan. But I bet you were totally fine with it when Jermain Taylor defended against Ouma without him ever winning a fight @160, right? I see we're dealing with someone who's fully determined to hate.

You're so right. Cotto's win over Geale was just as meaningful as Pacquaio's win over De la Hoya.

 

i dunno man....geale had to lose 3 extra lbs....he was allowed to put the weight back on plus some so he should have been ok.......he got his ass kicked by a welterweight....lol....thats one of gggs best wins.....smh

oscar hadnt fought at 147 in 8 years before losing a full 8 for pac....i dont see the comparison.....did geale need ivs in his arm in the dressing room just to make it to the ring?

Dunno about that but he definetly needed help to stand up during the wiegh in. De la Hoya fought @150 right before Pacquaio, and just like him, Geale never fought before 160 8 years. Not to mention he rehydrated to 185 lbs, added almost 30 pounds over night. People bash at RJJ for his win over Toney because Toney added 15 lbs after weigh in. If Toney was in bad shape that night, imagine how Geale was against Cotto.

 

sounds like geale had no idea how to handle the situation....not my problem....putting on 30lbs is irresponsible.....lol at "needed help to stand" over 3lbs....
