Is Carl Froch a bum?

The guy has 1punch KO power.

 

No,he is a top 10 SMW contender with a big mouth and also who hasn't fought a real threat.Pascal will be his first.And he won't fight Taylor as Taylor could have fought him earlier but went for Lacy,DiBella made it clear about this

 

Taylor is WBC's mandatory so he will fight him if he beats Pascal

 

He has power, and he's got decent fundamentals, but I dont think he's world-class. He's borderline top 10 at the very best. His defense is shocking and he's been inactive in recent years. I expect someone like Taylor or Kessler would take him apart.

 

he does Have one punch ko power but he try's to hard to look good when he should concentrate on the Fundamental's. Taylor is a fantastic boxer who will beat him easily by neutralizing his power and giving him a clinic

 

Taylor could have fought for the title for more money vs Froch already but went for Lacy.He doesn't care about that damn belt,he cares about winning and make money,DiBella said the fight won't happen regardless

 

to early to tell, he is just a prospect in which can either be complete waste of air time or the next super middleweight champ only time will tell

 

Froch seems to get alot of publicity without even really beating anyone and while still being a relatively unknown fighter.

It seems every week there is a press clipping of him either talking **** or making a prediction on a upcomming fight as if his words are somehow golden.

Again who the **** is Froch and why is he getting so much attention?

 

He has a good chin and power and I would say he was top 5 at 168,he just hasn't been able to get the fights to prove it until now

 

I don't get the hype about Froch. Whilst I'd like him to be one of Britain's next World-Class fighters, he's only beaten a shot Reid at this stage. A win over Pascal will prove he's a top contender, nothing more.

His power is very good, but people keep going on about his iron chin, and I for one can't see how he has established that reputation.

His power makes him dangerous, and I hink he can beat Taylor, who still doesn't convince me his heart is completely in it. Beating a clearly jaded Jeff Lacy (has he done anything impressive since the Calzaghe fight? No.) just not make Taylor top class again IMO.

Kessler on the other hand, would smash Froch. Again, I hope Frochy can prove me wrong, but standing them side-to-side, Kessler looks far the better fighter.

Andrade would be a real litmus test for Froch, as there's no way he's getting K.O'd. Can Froch adapt to him, box him, or would he stand there and trade? If Froch really does have a great chin it could be a tremendous fight.

However, I suspect Andrade weathers an early storm and stops Froch in the middle rounds.

 

Froch = hypejob.

 

I heard Froch talkin about a possible fight with Taylor just recently.Its a shame that is the case I would like to see that fight.

What fight is out there for JT in the mean time that would make more money?You just contradicted yourself..if Taylor wanted only to make money,he'd of fought Froch not Lacy:huh

 

Fights for Taylor:Kessler,Calzaghe,Bute etc.HBO will find something for their favorite hypejob
What can I tell you is that Taylor won't fight Froch for sure

 

Froch is nothing special but not a bum. If a fight between him and Taylor takes place Taylor should win.
