What decent opponent has he knocked out with one punch? As far as I can tell, the only fight where he knocked a guy out cold was the Dodson fight, and that was off a combination.
Very good break down. The latest word is that Jermin is looking at Calzaghe and Kessler. The accusation that JT is ducking Froch is simply ludicrous. Jermain fought BHop X2, Winky, and Pavlik X 2, but he is ducking Frochatsch Utterly ridiculous.
Froch's been a prospect for almost 4 years now. He's not a bum but he hasn't exactly accomplished anything either. Pascal and every fight from that point forward will determine whether or not Carl Froch has the goods. Personally, I think he'll have a good career. If he has a career similar to that of Robin Reid he'll have done well as Reid was a solid world-class operator for many years.
He can afford to pick and choose, and he's got a better chance at Calzaghe than most, however unlikely it might appear at first. I'm done speculating with him. Let's see whom he picks.
But we've done this before. Call it 'ducking' or call it whatever (and judging by what I remember of your previous posts you would call it ducking if the roles were reversed). At the moment, Taylor turned down a title fight with Froch in order to take an easier non-title fight with Lacy. That's a defensible decision, he's coming off two losses. If he avoids the fight with Froch (assuming Froch wins) to fight Calzaghe, Bute or Kessler, then he'll again get a pass from me. Those are bigger fights against more proven opponents. But if he turns down another shot at Froch for another stay at home fight against a Lacy-type opponent, then I think it's fair to judge him on that basis.
what claim does he have to a good chin and great power.? which big hitters has he fought, who have tested his chin? and regarding his power, which top fighter has he proven his power against, a fighter with a good chin that is..?
